Any kind of customer configuration is installable at factory.

With its powerful and scalable engineering, E-CUBE system is adaptable to any customer configuration.

 Operators and facility managers can benefit from personalized E-CUBE systems that can be commercialized as white labelling.

Customization case by case

CUBE integrated, customized and according to specifications defined with the customer, any kind of external components around the DataStation E³:

• 3G or 4G routers
• Radio Gateways
• Pulse in line concentrators with local parameters
• Different types of power supplies.

Pre-configuration DataStations E³

DataStations E³ come with a pre standard setting, 100% compatible with all major brands of PLCs and measurement devices.

• Measuring devices: ABB, Algodue Electtronica, Aquametro, Enerdis, Imesys, Legrand, Loreme, Saia Burgess, Socomec, Webdyn, etc.
• PLC brands: Trend, Wago, etc.

  Cube includes in its E-CUBE services contract the ad hoc setup and on request, the configuration of any other brand or measuring system, subject to the availability of media (records) and the prototype of the device.

Replacement of measuring devices

When replacing every meter or change type, model or brand, the E-CUBE system automatically performs the separation of the index and manages the rotation indexes.

    The system guarantees the reliability and continuity of data index without loss.
 

Testing ModBus links

CUBE has developed a SmartPhone and tablet app to easily conduct in-situ tests of the connection of measuring devices in ModBus.

      This specific tool is a significant time saver for field technicians teams.

Interface

Each DataStationE³ has a keyboard and a display of 128x64 characters associated to LED signals of the operational status.
The operator when commissioning, has immediate access to all relevant information during commissioning:

• Quick review of the overall system
• Visualization of operating history
   

With two LEDs, the technician is able to instantly detect a malfunction on one of the connected devices or a communication error with the server.

Communication with measuring devices

The DataStations E³ connects with electrical measurement equipment type counter, central measures or hub of pulses, via an Ethernet or RS485 serial, multi-protocols: Modbus, JBUS, SBUS.

The RS485 connection is compliant with EIA-485 standard.

Each DataStation E³ reads up to 32 meters. In the case of hubs of pulses or wireless gateways, each track is recorded as a counter.

At the commissioning of the facility, the DataStation E³ is programmed according to the type of each measuring unit connected to determine the quantities it can recover.
 

Communication with server

Each DataStation E³ incorporates two communication interfaces: Ethernet wired and wireless 802.11a / b / g. Optional integrated 3G can interface / 4G.

E³Link is a specific communication protocol, developed by CUBE. It administrate the communication from DataStations E³ to E³Manager software.
 

Data encryption

      To secure data, CUBE guarantees a triple DES encryption between the DataStation E³ and server.
